DIIGG Wellbeing exists for the families and schools who need this most. We prioritise regional schools with an ICSEA score below 1000, and the families, parent-child pairs, and community groups who couldn't access a program like this without support. This isn't a general offering with a token subsidy on the side, it's the reason the program exists in this form at all.
We identify families and pairs who'd benefit from a Rites of Passage camp but can't pay in full through regional schools (ICSEA under 1000), working directly with school wellbeing staff, and through our own facilitator network. Every funded place is the same camp, the same experience, the same facilitators a paying family gets. No distinction made on the day.
For many lower socio-economic families, a full weekend camp away isn't a realistic starting point, work schedules, trust, and simply not knowing us yet are all real barriers, and a school can't always get a parent to say yes to that on day one. So alongside camp funding, we also run an in-school pathway program, building trust and readiness over 8 to 10 weeks before a family takes that next step onto an actual camp.
This means a school with hesitant parents, or students who aren't ready for a full weekend away, isn't excluded, they're on a real pathway, not turned away.
DIIGG identifies need directly through school wellbeing staff and our own facilitator network, and confirms each funded place against what's available that camp round. We're formalising outcome reporting to funders, with de-identified data, as part of that process this year.
A fully funded place, one parent and one child through a complete camp, costs $1,590. That's the real cost of delivery. $20,000 funds close to an entire camp, every family in it, from referral through to graduation. Your support scales directly into real families guided through a proven program, not a vague impact claim.
A funded place covers real delivery costs, venue and catering, safety and comfort equipment, and paid program leadership, a Head of Programs, a Camp Lead, and a Senior Facilitator on every camp. The rest of our facilitator team volunteers their time. We're glad to share the full cost breakdown on request, nothing here is a black box.
DIIGG Wellbeing is governed by a volunteer board of directors. Outcomes are measured with the PERMAH Profiler before and after every camp, and results are reported back to funders directly, so impact is visible, not just claimed.

DIIGG runs Rites of Passage camps for local families, right here in Geelong, the Bellarine, and the Surf Coast. Sponsor one, and you can point to it. Not a logo in a long list, an actual group of families who went through something real, because you backed it.
Every sponsorship starts with getting a school onto our list. From there, we work out with that school whether a camp's the right first step, or whether our in-school pathway program makes more sense first. Either way, your sponsorship goes toward that relationship, from first contact through to a life-changing outcome, we make the call on how it's used based on what the school actually needs.
Support one family's place with DIIGG. A simple, direct way to help.
Support two families. Same as above, double the impact.
Support a cohort, five families, at once.
Fund a full camp, 12 families, from referral to graduation. Your name is the reason this specific camp happened.
Back a full year of our work. The biggest local difference one sponsor can make. $50,000+
